YOUR VIEW: Reading program worth the time | SouthCoastToday.com
I agree... how can modeling a behavior such as reading be bad? Even my pediatrician gives books at every check up for my 3 year old. APA recommends reading to our children daily. Upper grade students mentor the lower grade students by reading to them, in our own school district. Is it really taking that much time away from the class to read to children, AND provide each child a book of their own?
Are you kidding? The Superintendent had the audacity to find fault with Reading is Fundamental? Does the Superintendent know of Mrs. Obama's posture in regards to RFD?

He wasnt bad. It was likely that she was insulted or miffed by someone or something involved and wanted a little payback.
