Dr. Portia Bonner has resigned
Dr. Portia Bonner has resigned as superintendent of New Bedford Public Schools. The New Bedford Educators Association wishes her farewell.

Good luck to her. They say that it is a law of the Universe; what you give is what you get.
What amazes me is how the fact that she resigned is forgotten. The tale that she was pushed out by a conspiracy is too attractive. She wouldn't even meet with the SC on that Fri and early news reports were of an effort to prevent the meeting going ahead.
