This is the second time Dan McDonald has described the Roundtable as a representation of 14 local groups. Are they or are they not officially representing UMass, Charter, UIA etc? Seems they want it both ways. On the one hand they want the weight of their employers, on the other they want to play off as ordinary, caring citizens.
There are 14 people on the round table. 3 work for the chancellor at UMD. 1 works for the charter school and 1 is a trustee of the charter schools. 2 are members of the UIA political group. That's 7 people representing 3 groups.
As you can see there aren't 14 groups represented by the roundtable as McDonald says.

Carolee wants nbea to change its name.
Since there are no educators on the round table, may I suggest that the education round table change its name to something else?
