The roundtable and Uia have found a friend in mayor Jon Mitchell. Make no mistake, we are under attack and If we don't stand up against those who are attempting to destroy our profession, we all doomed. New Bedford is the new Wisconsin and in my opinion, Mitchell is the new Walker.
The standard times says we need small autonomous schools. They also say we need to get rid of Francis. Soon they will tell us which of us should be fired.

I agree with the last post. The Uia is using the "crisis" to undermine our union.

Since when did the s-t run the school department?
Beware of anyone or any initiative the st supports. If they support it, then it's probably bad for teachers.
