Become part of an Educator Evaluation Professional Learning Cadre with MTA!

The MTA Center for Education Policy and Practice is seeking to recruit retired and current K-12 teachers and administrators to become part of an Educator Evaluation Professional Learning Cadre. Over the next two years, CEPP will be providing regional professional development to five-person school teams consisting of the principal and four teachers. In addition, districts may contract to have professional development provided at the district or school level.

We are seeking practitioners with minimally five years of teaching experience and some experience conducting professional development in such roles as team leader, staff developer, or other roles that include teaching teachers and/or administrators. Applicants must be able and willing to drive at least 50 miles to a regional or school site.

The initial application and screening process will be done through the link below. Applicants that may be considered for one of these positions will be required to attend a screening interview before the final selection occurs.  Successful applicants must participate in an MTA staff development program to learn the content of the Education Evaluation Implementation Program and the instructional processes appropriate for adult learners.

To begin the application process, please click on the link below and complete all fields. The deadline for applications is Friday, July 6, 2012. Those applicants who will be invited to an interview will be contacted the week of July 9.
