Reverend Lima has a profound interest in education and New Bedford’s students.  He is a frequent lunchtime guest at New Bedford’s Elementary Schools.  His visits offer some guidance and a warm, caring attitude for children that need positive attention from an adult.  Lima also ministers to the staff of the New Bedford Public Schools as he is actively involved with the ecumenical service that opens each year.  You will often find Reverend Lima in the audience at New Bedford School Committee meetings and he was a moderate voice on the Education Roundtable.
