BIG Mistake. Fight for the E.A.!!! Why do we celebrate sensory rooms and iPads for autistic kids and then treat our gifted learners like they are invisible? I am fed up with Finnerty and Larkin. We should support ALL our kids. Especially those that actually live in New Bedford.
Once again huge mistakes are made and it affects the students. The funny thing is the students and teachers will pay the price for mismanagement of funds when neither one had a hand in the mismanagement. NBPS where are YOU headed? For a state takeover?
Let's talk reality. 2015 is the reaccreditation year for NBHS! Do you think we will be able to pass with these cuts and with politicians and downtown administrators that find it fun to bash our school? What will the kids do with a diploma that is valueless?

So they will approve the Renaissance School but cut the Engineering Academy? Seriously, how do we get rid of these people?

I guess those who teach tested subjects on the MCAS need political rallies too.
Notice that the political machine has protected the innovation school while every other school is taking the cuts.
Marlene Pollock and Jon Mitchell are the city's biggest fools.
