Teachers used to say...."Don't smile before Thanksgiving"....now we say, "Don't quit before Thanksgiving."

Don't get assaulted by a student before Thanksgiving. Don't get intimidated by an administrator before Thanksgiving. Don't get blamed by a parent for a student's poor behavior before Thanksgiving.

A child is a mirror of their parents. They learn behaviors from the grown-ups who gave the little darlings birth. Yet, some parents blame the teachers-Their failure as parents is now our fault. Go figure!

Go figure is right! Pathetic is what it is! When I realize what a joke it is it doesn't bother me so much. Really want to do right by these kids, what it's all about. But come on people(administration, mayor...), put the blame where it belongs. Mayor said tonight that there has to be pressure. Well of course? It is where the pressure is applied that will make the difference!

Dear stakeholders: It seem our version of Dictator has had the Headmaster's job posted online. It seems she may be looking for more than one. Start date January! I guess we've got plenty of money to waste. The January start date is so the successful candidate/s will be able to plan for 7 months! God help us!

Why did those "stakeholders" meet as often as they did or at all if she is going to do as she wishes anyway? Two rumors in the building... All teachers with duties will be listed as part time teachers ( I didn't know we had that designation) and kids wanting to engage teachers in fights so they can jump them. Lou what are our legal rights if we choose not to engage in the fight?
