Phil Paleologos is misinformed on many topics, disrespects local teachers and their union, feigns love and concern while fueling the flames of hatred and judgement, and he is not a force for justice. Basically, we will all be better off when he is off the air.

Agreed. Mr. Paleologos is pigheaded and unfair. He spreads misinformation and is the most unprepared talk host I have heard. I will not patronize any business that advertises on his program. I am advising my wide circle of family and friends to do the same.

I'm a little confused about the Parker article. In one sentence, the superintendent says "That is not disrespectful to anyone here, but we are not making progress in a robust, rapid way... and we need to make sure we have results...we need to do things differently"

Next sentence, "Those involved with Parker say the school already have seen dramatic change and made significant strides forward under new leadership..."

But Chester sees "a school as being "stuck" and unable to make steady progress..."

A little triple-speak here, don't you think? You can already get the sense that things have been going in a positive direction for some time, and lets guess who'll be taking the credit for it. Great job teachers!!!

Glad to see that at least the ST allocated a topic title to engaging parents. It's a beginning.

ST believes "For the sake of students we must stay the course"...of reform...this mess of reform has nothing to do with the children....it is for the sake of TESTING and using DATA to line the pockets of profiteers--it also has very little to do with improving teaching and learning. I am so disgusted with the media in NB.

Driving people to the use of anti-depressants and panic attacks – surely there must be some sort of human rights issue here. No-one should have to work under such circumstances.

I see Phil's daughter just got a top job at the NB Health Dept. Another nationwide search?

That's Phil's gift from Mitchell for protecting him from teachers calling looking for answers on WBSM every Wednesday from 5:00-6:00.

Now the pieces of the puzzle have come together. His daughter gets a great job from Mitchell because daddy is an expert suck up. Good going Phil!

Don't forget that Phil needs the Mayor to approve the "petroleum permits" and other permits that he needs so he can sell the Shawmut Dumper -oops...Diner to Cumberland farms. And...his daughter got a job with the NB Health Department....sounds like a "political favor" to me.

Someone please tell me you're just funnin. The mayor did not hire Mr. Paleologos daughter. There must be a mistake or misunderstanding. I'm sure of it!

At the bottom of the job posting did it say in print that "multilingual / multiliterate candidates, especially those who speak/read/write more than one of the following: Spanish, Portuguese and/or Cape Verdean Creole are strongly encouraged to apply."

May we be that shallow to think she was given the job because of her father's relationship with the mayor. I don't believe it.

Sincerely,
