Many people are now walking by problems they see and see no problem. They ask why should I attempt to fix something that cannot be fixed. Very sad environment to work in. Just running out the clock until the end of the year is not right.
Folks, this is deeply concerning. As a parent, this course of action by the administration is the last thing any rational person might imagine they would take. Do Kulak or Durkin have any idea what's going on and the level of support Ms. Maura has received from the community? It is now very obvious how toxic the environment at our schools is. I mean, Ms. Maura's name is spelled wrong in the notice! You mean to tell me Mr. Kulak couldn't proofread such an important, yet relatively short message and spell the recipient's name correctly?! It is becoming very clear that the leadership is grossly incompetent and has no idea how to handle such basic duties. Do not be fooled by this show and the citizens really need to question why this "investigation" is being executed so poorly. It is truly baffling and inexplicable as to why Ms. Maura is being threatened with any disciplinary action at all.
This was on Channel 5 as well, with an interview with Ms. Maura.
Parents - we NEED your involvement! Where is the outcry, the picketing, the rally? Too many teachers are afraid for their jobs if they speak publicly. (As evidenced by what is happening to Ms. Maura) We cannot do this alone!!
I'm the "folks" parent from above. I heard this morning from Durkin (on the radio) that no one is being targeted. Are you kidding me? Did she read Kulak's letter? I'm starting to think you can't believe anything she says at all. The tone of the letter was very inappropriate, is clearly targeting Ms. Maura for the blame, and shows absolutely no tact in working with staff.
As I wrote months ago when this new superintendent arrived, I could see the writing on the wall. We no longer advocate to the students "Where Are You Headed?" and we aren't spending time in our classes discussing "bullying." I wonder why?!? This school system is a joke and just think of the salaries we are paying these people! Wake up NB! It's going to be payback time for all of them! Keep watching the news and see what unfolds!
I love my kids-I spend so much time and money on them. Yet, I am made to feel worthless. This overpaid administration has to go! The teachers are over burdened with their foolish demands while they roll around in the big bucks! I easily work a 12 hour day and get paid for 7. I have a family that gets ignored because I have DATA, DATA,DATA crap to finish. Kids are not robots!

Although this incident is in the public eye, the intimidation continues! Bullying at it's best.

I walked away from NBPS. Trust me folks, it's not like this everywhere. You all deserve better...make it happen!!
