Read
across the row for the cohort enrollment data.
The cohort enrollment data presents the same data as above,
but displays how the cohort enrollment changes for each year of the school's
grade range. The data reflects aggregate
enrollment and does not involve tracking individual students over time.
For example:
2013-14 cohort - 122 students started at the City on
Hill Charter in Grade 9 in 2010-11. This
cohort would be expected to complete the program in Grade 12 in 2013-14.
The cohort that will graduate in 2014 (purple-shaded cells) had 122 students in grade 9;
the enrollment dropped to 84 in grade 10.
In grade 11, the cohort had 61 students; 56 students were enrolled in the
fall of 2013.
City on a Hill experienced a loss of 66 students in the
2013-2014 cohort. This drop out pattern is similar to that of other cohorts.
City on a Hill had a total enrollment of 1,706 students in
the 9th grade from 1995-96 to date.
City on a Hill lost 825 of its students over the same period
of time.
