Madeloni to Warren: Educators want to "end the testing madness"
At a meeting earlier this week with U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, MTA President Barbara Madeloni conveyed the message that educators want to “end the testing madness.” She also asked Warren to help ensure that state and federal education policymakers are held accountable for providing the schools our children deserve.
Warren is a member of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, which is currently holding hearings on the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, better known as No Child Left Behind.
