A waste of money having a retirement party. This would never happen in the private sector.
What an Idiot!! I am so sick of these people who want to compare to the "private sector" and have NO idea what they are talking about. Most wouldn't last a week in NBPS. Let us know who you are and you can put your name in as a substitute teacher. Chances are you don't have the credentials to be a professional educator.
We are saying goodbye to the last of the real teachers. The new hires thought they went to school to become teachers. Sadly, they have only become testers.
Congrats to the 2 nurses who retired, Nancy Starr 30 yrs and Lucille Kolbeck 40 yrs. 70 years of nursing experience .Wow that is a great work ethic, going to be hard to replace .

People paid their own way other than the retirees. Who are you? Go away. Read a book.

That's a crock. Retirement parties happen in the private sector ALL THE TIME!

I believe the "waste of money" commenter was simply being sarcastic. If not, what a moron.
