The City Council supports New Bedford Educators

4. WRITTEN MOTION, Councillor Winterson, Council President Lopes, Councillors Abreu, Gomes,

Martins and Carney, requesting, that the City Council send a letter to our local State and Federal

Delegations in opposition of Senate Bill #279 and House Bill #304, due to the fact that the approval

of said bills will strip our local schools and educators of their rights and voices.
