School Committee to examine Bonner's handling of swine flu case tonight

Marlene Pollock: "I know that a lot of people don't have computers, and if they do have computers, they are not always online," she said. "It seems the best thing to do is to let people know."

Dr. John Fletcher: "I think letters should have been sent home."

Dr. Bonner: "I believe that I acted in the best interest of our children, and protect(ed) the one individual who could become victimized because of acquiring the flu," Bonner said in a letter to the editor, which was published in Sunday's Standard-Times.

Mayor Lang: "My position is the more information you give them, the calmer they (the public) will be," he said.

Jill Ussach: "It might have instilled some panic given that it is so close to the end of the year." "She thought she used her good judgment. I prefer to give her the benefit of the doubt," she said. "She thinks of the children and families first."

That's what they said. What do you say?

School Committee member Jill Ussach she said she is supportive of Bonner in this instance.
I don't know when she hasn't supported Bonner but I do know as a result of her statements she doesn't support children and their families. I'll never vote for her again and will encourage everyone I know to do the same.

Know what's scary? That the superintendent is so manipulative. She actually thinks that anyone fell for her ploy about notifying people via the website? She buried the information and when called on it indicated that she had posted it. This woman is twisted. And going one further does she think people believe that she was protecting the "child"? Who the hell wanted the child's name? NOBODY. That's just more of her sneaky crap.
