This is the Standard Times that opposed any New Bedford resident from applying, said that our school issues could be solved by some miracle worker who should get 200k for a salary, and now they finally ponder what could have gone wrong by sending Jill Ussach to do a background check.
Did you hear these ridiculous officials at Monday's meeting? First during the budget session, they were lamenting about cuts and there's no money... then in the regular meeting they are saying they want to spend $75,000 on a new search as well as more $$$ on a consultant! So which is it school committee? do you have money or not?

I think that Dr Bonner should have given the standard times a free breakfast and then everything would have been ok.
"What the F...!"... couldn't beleive that the Standard Times actually did what a newspaper should do... only two year too late!
