Get rid of MCAS. Whether you are someone that doesn't test well, are from lower income or households who don't value education, you are set up to fail. Also, schools have become too stressful for teachers and students with all the stress that comes along with MCAS. NOT ALL STUDENTS ARE GOING TO YALE OR HARVARD! We do need sanitation engineers, painters, etc. We need to bring all the subjects back into a school day and not just focus on English and Math. No wonder students drop out: there's no fun while learning and they want to save face.In the past, all subjects were taught to us and you looked forward to the ones that interested you the most.We also didn't have MCAS and we graduated with our diplomas and became successful professionals.
