Am I the only teacher who can see the writing on the wall. This is an idea whose time has come. I consider myself an excellent teacher with good evaluations. It reall bothers me that someone not as commited as I, or some one with less education but just as much time as I, is paid in the same range as I.
I welcome the opportunity to get paid based on the quality of the job I do instead of based on what the contract says. I have that much confidence in myself and the quality of the job I do. To those of you who don't, find something else to do.
