Yet more anti-union rhetoric from the Standard-Times and the Pioneer Institute.
If the union busters had their way, we would have children until 8 or 9 P.M. each day and we would be lucky to make $40 thousand per year.
Most teachers work very hard and deserve every dime they get.
The teachers are not the problem! Let's start with the federal government that doesn't have the "stones" to enforce immigration laws. We can also blame the sperm and egg donors that masquerade as parents. Immigration and societal reforms are the prescription for what is ailing our public schools.

As usual, you hit the nail on the head. Thank you.

Our contract is one of the best in the state. The Pioneer Institute is nothing more then a vendor of trash.

Bravo watchdog! As it is, I have to work another job on weekends to make ends meet! Teachers don't receive a free ride and have to earn their way.

Well done Watchdog, you are just as bad as the newspaper, looking around for a scapegoat. Immigrants fit the bill. This time. What # ticket did granddaddy have on the Mayflower?
