Well there is a wake up call! Kids being passed on when they can't read, hmmmmmm. When pressure is applied based on $$$$$ the kids loose out.

Let's also remember that Georgia is a non-unionized state and they rank 49th in the country. Hmmm, still want to say that unions are bad for education? Reality speaks very differently. If they had a union to protect them, then they wouldn't be cheating in order to keep their jobs!! We are being led by a bunch of self-serving, unethical, avaricious and power drunk politicians who don't know jack about public education! Considering we live in a democracy, there is an awful lot of tyranny allowed to perpetuate in the public & private sectors. Since when did we go back to slave labor? People getting fired for reporting the truth, because the truth is unpopular? If it smells looks and acts like corruption.... It's not all about the bottom line. Public education is not Corporate America, nor should it ever be! Just like they tanked the global economy, now those in power will destroy public education and with it eventually, the middle class. Their involvement has contaminated the integrity of public education like BP did the Gulf. All those students were robbed of a real education! Teachers will be the whole problem, again; and no one at the top will take responsibility for the disaster they wrought on thousands of students’ lives. Any change that takes place from now on must be led and created by teachers, those professional individuals who simply know better.
