More big names at Cabral ed annoucement

In a recent blog post by a Standard-Times reporter, it was implied that my presence at a recent press conference on education by mayoral candidate Antonio Cabral was an endorsement by the NBEA. Please be aware that the New Bedford Educators Association does not endorse political candidates.

The reporter also pointed out that I did not attend mayoral candidate Jon Mitchell’s education briefing back in July. That is correct. I was unable to attend Mr. Mitchell’s press event because of another commitment.

Thanks for allowing me to clarify the issue.
