What's this I hear about dozens of investigations going on in NBPS? Can any shed some light?

Don't hold your breath. Bonneau was "investigated" for some pretty severe transgressions and we heard nothing except that she was promised a 50th year. Ugh.

No because apparently, the investigators aren't even shedding light on what some of the investigations are even all about or rather "who" they are all about. Some of the business being conducted is awful shady.....

Investigations are required following complaints. An investigation does not mean anything more than that.

If he wrote the truth( that Gracia's alleged parents and cousins should be ashamed of his actions and their own role in raising him and leaving him to run wild, use drugs, and attempt murder), he would be fired. Better to blame the schools, and quick.

It's sad that this person was guided by his family to make bad choices throughout his short life. It seems that there is a long history of that happening if so many of the people in his life were involved with the police. The part that isn't being reported is that his teachers did care about him and tried to do their very best by him. His choices got in the way. It seems this child had no self respect or self worth. All he had to do that night was STOP. He made a different choice and suffered consequences.

My openline comment is that Normandin is out of control. Bonneau talks and no one listens. Kids run around knowing nothing will happen about their bad behavior. Teachers have thrown up their hands in surrender. I can't believe she'll be rewarded with another year. The school used to be a jewel and now it's an embarrassment. MR. SHEA AND MR. MITCHELL, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!

What will happen when Normandin's ELA/Social Studies Academic Coach retires this year? Who will be the replacement if the budget allows this position to remain at NMS? Will there be a fair and equitable interviewing process or will it be the principal's choice:nepotism vs
actual interested candidates, not necessarily from Normandin? Does she know how this will further affect staff morale?!?

I agree with all that has been said about Normandin. I've been there a long time and it is worse than ever. Bonneau has completely lost it. If Mr. Shea wants to be a strong bridge, he should lead us to a new principal.
