Class was in session yesterday morning on WBSM’s Taylor Cormier program as two staff members from Roosevelt Middle School discussed their opposition to the Innovation Schools proposals. Chuck Lapre, a social studies teacher, and guidance counselor Patricia Benner presented their points of view and fielded phone calls for one hour. According to the NBEA website, Lapre is its Secretary-Treasurer and Ms. Benner serves on the Board of Directors.
