If the citizens of this great city stay alert, we can stop this destructive movement from taking over. Perhaps, the true innovation will be the push back from the people of NB that these "reformers" never expected from the "downtrodden" simple folk of the Whaling City!

"The history of education is littered with flavor-of-the-month interventions, many of which began at a model school, but that, once implemented elsewhere, flopped. Dejected educators then begin scouting for the next "big thing."

Since the standard times is controlling the "message" they will never write about the failures of this school. I accept this fact and will do my best to spread the word. Please help me.

All these folks want is financial gain, these new schools are called "money grabs"! They want financial gain, jobs for their buddies, and political power, it's not about kids.

City on a Hill is looking to infiltrate our community and grab all they can -- what happens if they fail? They take the money and run. As the graphic shows, their failure record is outstanding: City on a Hill is a perfect failure.

We do not want them in this community.

As with many many of these situations where someone comes in to "make things better for YOU" -- follow the money to find out who is really getting the deal. This City on a Hill school idea does not benefit New Bedford, it benefits City on a Hill. Think about that before getting excited for this idea, and instead put your efforts into our public school system over allowing City on a Hill to apply their success model (as the graphic so clearly illustrates) to our community.
