School deficit... by Josh Amaral
Cuts will be made. Those cuts will affect every school at every level: elementary, middle, and high school — except they won’t affect Alma del Mar. They won’t affect Global Learning Charter. And they wouldn’t affect Esperanza, Renaissance, or City on a Hill either. They’re insulated from district wide issues and cuts. This leads to a scenario where these autonomous schools are receiving the “per pupil figure” of $10,477 while the rest of the district spends something like $7,000 per student.

I thought it was interesting that after the fact they state that our ex business manager was in way over her head! You think? Look at the resume.
