A SPLIT VERDICT..by Whaling City Watch

Our hearts are with the Gomes School family as they try to cope with the dismemberment of their school.  The teachers at Gomes are among the finest of New Bedford’s educators.  They work with some of the highest need children in the city.  Throughout this process, the Gomes staff has been deprived of their legal right to decide the fate of the school.  Whaling City Watch urges the New Bedford Educators Association to seek relief through our judicial system.
