New Bedford teachers stay strong you are appreciated! - submitted by a members

I am so sad that teachers have become scapegoats for failure to truly fund our schools and give students a well rounded school day.  Students sense the tension among staff and administrators and that only makes the situation more difficult.  Students also know that they are being shortchanged an equitable education compared to other districts.  Teachers are supposed to be everything but are given nothing. New Bedford teachers stay strong you are appreciated!

It is nice to hear that we are appreciated. It needs to be said more. A little praise goes a long way for human behavior.

Thanks for standing up to those who want to trash us continuously.

Lou, you should be proud of your enemies. Wear them like badges. And keep doing what you do.

If anyone asks, and even if they don't, NBEA members should tell everyone "Lou St. John speaks for ME."

I would personally like to thank my daughters teachers at NBHS for all their hardwork and dedication! Please know that I appreciate all you do for my child and all the other students as well. I truly can't imagine the thoughts that a running through your minds after this afternoon. Please know that I will continue to be the strong parent who will fight for what our students/teachers need. Teachers and Faculty should not have to work under these conditions and have their jobs threatened!
