Relational Trust Broken ... Submitted by a member
Trust is a key ingredient for success in any school. It is defined to mean that the trust is built by multiple interactions among parties in service of a common goal whether it involves administrators working with teachers to accomplish the school's goals, teachers working with students to reach instructional goals, or teachers and families working together. The degree of relational trust present in a school is a function of the school's relationships with the broader community, the school's relationship with parents, and professional relationships among educators and students in schools. Relationships and trust are necessary for school improvement, and issues of trust can either support or undermine the school improvement process. The mayor, school committee, and you, Dr. Durkin, have broken our trust.

Agreed, makes a bit sick actually!
Disappointed, disgusted, and sad. I have to say morale has NEVER been lower. We must unite and trust in each other as colleagues to reclaim our dignity. We are worthy of better!
Then why are we all standing by and letting this happen? Please tell me that in the New Year we are going to show some you know whats and stand up for ourselves!!!!!! Talk is cheap. We need to take our city back!!!!
The mayor is a joke.
The School Committee is a joke!
