How will the S-T spin the fact that the Global Learning Charter School is dying? Craig might need to drink heavily.
Which editor said this: "... best practices of these innovative schools and of charter schools should be looked into and adopted into our current system..." ?
From 2003: "Overall, Massachusetts charter schools outperformed their district peers. The best results came from charter schools with some longevity. Newer education enterprises, like our Global Learning Charter School here in New Bedford, will need some time to prove their mettle. However, this recent round of test scores seems to indicate that it's worth the wait."
