I would appreciate seeing the Parker School article about few teachers reapplying added to this blog so it could be commented upon. Just as Joanne was a scapegoat for a a failing process, so too are the teachers at Parker who have taken the fall for a mess created by backroom deals between Chester and Durkin.
Only a few thousand people read the sub-standard times. Over a million people have watched the chair throwing incident on the news. Thank you ABC, NBC, Fox, and CBS local affiliates. The standard times is losing all credibility with the average citizen and other news stations with very large audiences. Stop the madness standard times, if their is a board with authority you should fire your fantasy world editor bob unger. The people that paper bashes are same people that would be buying your newspaper if it reported the truth and facts. There are thousands of city and school workers and thousands more of their family members that refuse to purchase that rag until it actually starts reporting news again. Enough of the teacher bashing, your message has failed.
What was the rest of investigatory action taken? Who didn't notify Pia...which I believe she (Pia) lied about. Someone in the administration supposedly didn't report the incident to her or the Headmaster. Still coverups!!!!!!Dr. Durkin NEEDS TO GO NOW!!!
Durkin is outright lying about the notification. Everything gets reported to her and her threats are taken seriously. When I walked into the main office a form was being faxed directly to her. I overheard a bit of the conversation. She knew!
Well well!! Two of our School Committee people finally found their voices and made comments in today's paper. Guess they got the OK and blessing from Pia to speak or did they just want their 15 minutes of fame!!!
I am doing the same thing, and demanding answers to the relationship between Chester, Mitchell, and Durkin. I praise the actions of the Peabody School Committee. We cannot say that about ours. They are not worth 2 cents.
The Peabody School Committee member Dave McGeney called into question Massachusetts Education Commissioner Mitchell Chester’s role on the PARCC governing board. Chester is in his third year as national chairman for the board. The committee voted unanimously on Tuesday to send the following correspondencce to Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Chester, Attorney General Martha Coakley, the Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the State Ethics Commission and ask that they render an opinion.
I am a parent, I am a neighbor and I know the family of the DeValles student. The mother is not only an extremely, ignorant big mouth but brings her children up to be punks! My guess is this boy probably threw this teacher a few F bombs! That is not okay!

Now the ST goes after a DeValles teacher? On the same day the exoneration of another is announced?

The administration share a common story..."We didn't know." They are circling the wagon to avoid any liability.
Pia roaches have infiltrated all NBPS. It's the curse that keeps on breeding.
We know that Durkin and Chester are partners in crime.
