Mayor Lang discusses the hiring of a new superintendent
The fools writing to the standard times supporting Bonner have not been to a single school committee. In fact most of those fools don't live in New Bedford. How can they support someone they don't know? How can they support someone they haven't seen in action? I guess the answer is simple. They are fools.
I never know whether to believe what I read in the paper because we know they want to sell papers but my personal favorite on that committee is Doc Fletcher because he has walked in our shoes. I can't believe that he doesn't support the mayor's position on this search thing. Knowing him when he thinks about it, he will go along with Scott Lang to give this woman a fair chance.
I want to thank the Mayor and Tom Clark. You've got guts and my respect. Some of your colleagues are sucking up to the losers who supported Bonner. They have their own agenda- it's called playing both sides- Marlene, John and Larry.
