New Bedford is getting $4.8 million from ed jobs bill...and another $3.6 million from RTTT funding. I guess the endless negative comments from the media and others were a complete waste of bad breath. Teachers well done on maintaining the integrity of your hard fought contract.

The concession were contingent on reversal if funds arrived so lets not pretend that all those who rejected concessions did so due to their foresight.

If you think you would get a concession reversed then you live in fantasy land. You NEVER get back what you give up.

I guess the NBEA and MTA were lying then when they included language in the concession that said teachers would be made whole as a result of any new funding.

When are these people being called back? No one has heard! What are they doing downtown? School starts tomorrow......

Could someone tell me why, at Roosevelt, they are closing the Social Studies department?
