- For the purpose of discussing collective bargaining negotiations with the New Bedford Educators Association, Inc.

Why is the school committee meeting in executive session to discuss collective bargaining? We were all told an agreement had been reached and ratified over a month ago.
Time to start picketing ... If the Mayor and School Committee try and reneg on this ratified agreement, there will be a collective uproar in NBPS!
I wondered why we still have not gotten our mutually agreed upon pay raise.
What next? are they- the school committee- going to screw us on longevity? If so, it won't be the Grinch that stole Christmas!
We will not sit around and continue to get robbed by this mayor and school committee. We have the numbers and ability to change the tone in all our schools. Why should any of us show any loyalty to this district? Our good will is over!
Work to Order(is that the term?) will be called for SOON! Lou, don't get soft bullied by Mr. Shea. He is nice, but that will not make our working conditions any better.
I just love getting paid "too much" since September to now have to pay back the NBPS over the next 3 pay periods. Merry Christmas to me!
