General Meeting
Would members support having a general meeting to discuss and take action on these issues?
I'm not sure what is meant by "these" issues, but I do think there is enough concerns flying around to warrant a meeting where civil and truthful discussions can occur.
^ I agree. Should a vote of this nature take place, his political career is done. No union would ever support Jon Mitchell again for any office at any level of government.
I recommend that people also share their opinions on this matter with the members of the NBEA board of directors and their faculty reps. It's that important.
Yes I would like to quit right now but won't let them off that easy. I have shared with my union rep how I feel and how I have been treated. I have spoken to my DR. and doing what is necessary to keep the stress at bay.
The moral in my building is horrible. Many teachers who have been teaching for 20 plus years are being evaluated weekly by a principal with very little experience. Is this truly necessary? These teacher observations as part of the evaluation process is bordering on harassment.

There are many concerns. It would be a good opportunity for people to share with colleagues and work toward solutions.

We should take a vote of no confidence against this mayor and the superintendent while we're at it.

Absolutely, Lou!! Safety is becoming a bigger issue every day!
You need specifics.
Whole-heartedly
Mayor is unopposed in election Tuesday? Not good!
At least leave it blank on Tuesday---why stroke his ego? Or, write in Scott Lang just to p*ss him off.
yes, as soon as possible

Hell yes I'll be there and round up the teachers in my building. We're done putting up with this BS.
We all need to come together and remedy this situation.
