Congratulations to Mr Parker's Robotics class who competed this week in the FTC Milton Qualifier.
Victoria Hathaway, Kathleen Spring Cornell, Andy Cruz, Cameo Lobo, Andrew Guillotte, Matt Hawk, Daquari Bridges and Ricardo Matias made it to the semi finals and placed third at the event. The team took home first place by receiving the Inspire Award. The Inspire award is given to the team that the judges feel that every other team should try to imitate. By winning this award the team will now compete in the Massachusetts FTC States on March 8, 2014 at Bridgewater State University, Go Scrappers.

Congratulation to you Mr. Parker and to your students for an outstanding job. Wonder if our Education Mayor and School Committee will acknowledge you and your students at the School Committee meeting on Monday, Feb. 10? They all talk about the bad reputation the high school is getting so now is their chance to highlight one of the many positives there.
Nice work!!!

Great group of kids! Wonderful accolades! Our kids shine!
Daquari Bridges, I'm very proud of the work you've accomplished in the robotics program and thank you for sharing your work with me. I look forward to seeing your next project! You are an incredible young man and I feel privileged for having the opportunity to have been your English teacher! Ms Adams
Keep Calm and Robot On
Hope the Mayor and School Committee honor you and your students for this accomplishment. Scott Lang when he was mayor did.
Congratulations to Mr. Parker and his students! You are the rays of hope in the not-so-bright future.
