Mr. Lang understands what it truly means to run a diverse city such as New Bedford and he treats it's citizens with dignity and respect no matter where they are in the social strata....
Scott Lang micromanaged the school department int the ground. He was the worst mayor for the New Bedford Public Schools until Jon Mitchell came along and actually made our schools way worse. Both were terrible for NBPS.
Not at all. Lang accepted the Race to the Top $$ which led to the dilemma Common Core leaves us in today. Scott Lang was the worst mayor the school department dealt with UNTIL Jon Mitchell who clearly surpassed him as the most destructive mayor toward education in New Bedford's history.
